I live in Chicago with my girlfriend and our two cats. Outside of work and school, nothing beats a quiet night at home or finding a new restaurant to try around the city. Friends and family are what make everything else worth it.
Outside the Office
Soccer
One of my biggest passions outside of technology. I can't fully explain why I love the game so much, but it brings me a lot of joy. It's a great workout, but more than that it's taught me a lot about myself and what it means to be part of a team.
Strength & Conditioning
Outside of soccer, lifting and running are my other physical outlets and stress relievers. Last year I ran a half marathon, which was an incredible challenge.
Travel
I enjoy a change of scenery, wherever that ends up being. New food, new people, new perspectives.
Recent Trip: Thailand
I recently spent a few weeks traveling through Thailand with my partner, exploring Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Koh Samui. It was an incredible experience that ranged from the energy of the city markets to the quiet of the northern mountains.
Since returning to Chicago, I've been focused on discovering authentic Thai restaurants and learning to recreate my favorite dishes at home, specifically Pad Krapao and Khao Soi.
