The Journey
How a humanities grad became a full-time systems administrator.
The Home Lab Catalyst
My academic background is in Sociology and Germanic Studies. I landed my first IT job while finishing my degree and never looked back. What started as curiosity about running my own services turned into a full home lab and a career in enterprise IT.
Executive IT Support
Spent a year and a half providing dedicated Windows and systems support for the C-Suite of a multi-billion dollar insurance company. Managing the technical needs of a CEO taught me the importance of high-availability systems.

Currently managing enterprise LMS infrastructure for 45,000+ users, spearheading a major Blackboard to Canvas migration, and leading a team of graduate assistants.
